Storm Over Baltimore
24” x 20”
Most of my family lives out of town so I am typically flying three to four times per year. I was flying to North Carolina this early morning with a change of plane in Baltimore. We were approaching a storm over Baltimore upon our descent. The views were amazing with the sunrise, the moon still visible and the dramatic cloud formations.
This was a challenging scene to paint with the subtle values and maintaining the softness of the clouds. Oil on linen panel.
