A Tisket, A Tasket
13” x 16”
This sunlit basket full of freshly harvested garlic at the local farmer's market fascinated me with it's tumble of round garlic shapes and the shadows and light hitting them. I loved painting the warm weave of the basket and all of the very sculptural forms we call garlic.
This painting was juried into the Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors. It is framed with a white mat and simple black wood frame. The framed size is 23” x 26”.
