Up the Staircase
25.5” x 13.5”
This staircase spoke to me while walking down Greenwich Avenue in CT after dinner. The geometric light and shadow shapes were caused by the overhead chandelier and the side lanterns.
Up the Staircase is painted on a 24” × 12” Ampersand Museum Series gessoboard panel set in an “antique gold” colored frame with a depth of two inches by one-half inch with Holbein Duo Aqua Oil paint.
