Winter Fence Line
16” x 20”
I am not a person who can stand outside on a cold winter day and paint. But, when an infrequent sunny day in February presents itself, I’m more than happy to drive around the countryside photographing a multitude of interesting winter scenes. This unkempt, beaten-down old fence line with the interesting arrangement on snow drifts really caught my eye. To me, it’s a compelling composition that a man began long ago and then nature took over. I just had to add my personal finishing touches to complete the final outcome. Oil.
