Fox in Snow
16” x 20”
This is the second painting from a winter drive in February. The scene was attractive from the standpoint of the many blues, warm sunlit snow, fiery weeds of red, orange and gold. All elements worked together to construct an amazing composition. The large thicket would have been a perfect hiding place for a few rabbits, but none were to be seen that day. Thinking about my grandaughter’s middle name, I decided that a fox would be the perfect little critter to include in the painting. Oil on canvas.
