Rosemary Pergolizzi

Rosemary Pergolizzi’s formal training began with an AAS from RIT’s Fine and Applied Arts Program. She received her Masters in Art Education from Nazareth College and spent the next 30 years teaching art at all grade levels.

Rosemary is an active member of the Rochester Art Club, the Pastel Society of Western New York, the National Association of Women in the Arts and the Mill Art Center and Gallery in Honeoye Falls, NY. Exhibitions include the P.Tribastone Gallery, Barnes & Noble, Arts Center of Yates County, and Wayne County Center for the Arts. She is a member of the Main Street Artists Group on Main Street, Rochester.

Rosemary works mainly in oils and pastels. Her subject matter is often landscapes, seascapes, cloudscapes and floral still life as well as commissioned portraiture of animals and children.

The love of natural beauty continues to compel her to commit her talents and techniques in the hopes of sharing that inspired and imaginative aesthetic with others.
